ELEKTRIT - COMPLEMENTARY VEHICLE POWER SYSTEM

Vehicle electronics supply system is a part of the vehicle to which at the time of the design process the least attention is paid. Usually it is assumed that the power supply is and will remain constant and is not worth wondering about. This approach to the problem of power supply at the design stage has its negative consequences, not only in financial terms of the project, but also, and perhaps above all, in the subsequent completion of the power system. This laid-back approach to power system often results in under-performance of power supplies sources, problems in the functioning of electronic devices on the vehicle or the mutual interference of these devices. Common power quality problems have forced many manufacturers of electronic devices to design in additional, specialised power units. These units, in fact, perform tasks of power stabilisation for the device. This action generates the hidden costs that are borne by the integrator of the vehicle but does not ensure proper functioning of equipment in the power system.

Using our many years of experience in the production of vehicle electronics devices, we have developed a complementary system of vehicle power supply "Elektrit". The complementarity of the system is to provide set of power supply devices interconnected with cable harness produced by us using  the Raychem technology and ended with MIL-DTL-38999 Series I and III and VG95234 connectors (produced by us under license from AMPHENOL Ltd) with meticulous EMC control at each stage of system development. The system can be successfully applied in both wheeled and tracked vehicles ensuring optimal power conditions for sensitive electronic equipment. Working with national military industry giants such as  Ironworks Stalowa Wola (HSW) and Military Mechanical Works in Siemianowice Slaskie (WZMS), we have successfully implemented the system in vehicles for specialised programs such as REGINA (WDSz, KRAB) and RAK (circular WD).

A characteristic feature of all our machines is the use of high-energy conversion technology to obtain the efficiency of not less than 90% under the full load range. All units are passively cooled, which results in high reliability and resistance to environmental conditions. In order to meet the EMC requirements specified in the NO-06-A200 (eng. version…..) standard  all equipment and its components undergo extensive testing in the company's EMC lab at every stage of design and production process. All devices use the D38999 and VG95234 connectors.
